ADOMAC Hair is committed to providing an inclusive digital experience and making our website and online shopping services reasonably accessible to people with disabilities.
ADOMAC Hair is operated by ADOMAC LLC and presented as a sub-unit of ADOMAC Global.
We want customers to be able to browse products, obtain information, use their Bag, complete checkout, manage orders, and access customer support without unnecessary accessibility barriers.
1. Our Accessibility Commitment
ADOMAC Hair is committed to improving the accessibility and usability of our website for customers with different abilities and methods of accessing digital content.
Our accessibility work is intended to support customers who may use technologies or techniques such as:
- screen readers;
- keyboard-only navigation;
- screen magnification;
- browser zoom;
- voice-control technology;
- alternative input devices; and
- other assistive technologies.
2. Accessibility Standard
ADOMAC Hair uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA as its principal accessibility target for the website.
WCAG is organized around four broad accessibility principles: content and functionality should be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
ADOMAC Hair aims to design, develop, maintain, and improve its website with WCAG 2.2 Level AA as an accessibility target.
ADOMAC does not claim full WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance unless production testing and supporting evidence justify that claim.
3. Areas We Aim to Make Accessible
Our accessibility efforts include important customer journeys and website features such as:
- website navigation;
- product-category pages;
- product-detail pages;
- product images and descriptions;
- product variations and selections;
- Bag functionality;
- checkout;
- forms;
- buttons and links;
- customer account functions;
- order information;
- shipping and tracking information;
- returns and refund information;
- legal and customer policies; and
- customer-support information.
Accessibility should be considered throughout the purchasing journey rather than only on informational pages.
4. Keyboard Accessibility
ADOMAC aims for important website functions to be usable without requiring a mouse.
This includes reasonable keyboard access to:
- navigation menus;
- links;
- buttons;
- product options;
- forms;
- Bag controls;
- checkout functions;
- dialogs and interactive components; and
- account-related functions.
Keyboard focus should remain visible and move through interactive content in a logical manner.
5. Screen Readers and Semantic Structure
ADOMAC aims to use appropriate website structure so that assistive technologies can interpret content effectively.
This may include:
- meaningful headings;
- appropriately labeled forms;
- descriptive controls;
- meaningful link text;
- appropriate page titles;
- semantic HTML where practicable;
- accessible names for interactive components; and
- status and error information that can be communicated to assistive technologies.
6. Images and Alternative Text
Meaningful images should include appropriate alternative text or another accessible equivalent where necessary.
Decorative images should be implemented in a way that does not unnecessarily interfere with screen-reader navigation.
For product images, accessibility information should help customers understand important product information without creating misleading or excessive descriptions.
7. Color and Contrast
ADOMAC’s visual branding should not be implemented in a way that prevents customers from accessing important information.
We aim to maintain appropriate contrast between important text, controls, and their backgrounds.
Color should not be the only method used to communicate critical information such as:
- form errors;
- required selections;
- order status;
- product availability; or
- important customer actions.
8. Text Resizing and Zoom
Customers should be able to use ordinary browser zoom and text-sizing functionality without unnecessarily losing access to important information or functionality.
Important content should remain reasonably usable when customers enlarge the website.
9. Forms and Checkout
Checkout accessibility is an important part of the ADOMAC Hair customer experience.
ADOMAC intends to pay particular attention to accessibility of:
- customer information fields;
- billing information;
- shipping information;
- address fields;
- product selections;
- checkout controls;
- payment-related interfaces within ADOMAC’s control;
- validation messages;
- error identification; and
- instructions for correcting errors.
Customers should not be expected to identify an error solely from a color change.
10. Accessible Authentication
Where customers use accounts or authentication functionality, ADOMAC aims to avoid unnecessary authentication barriers for people using assistive technology.
Accessibility considerations may include focus visibility, target size, redundant entry, understandable instructions, and accessible authentication methods where applicable.
11. Mobile Accessibility
Accessibility is not limited to desktop computers.
ADOMAC aims for important shopping functionality to remain reasonably accessible on supported:
- smartphones;
- tablets;
- laptops; and
- desktop devices.
Responsive layouts should be tested for accessibility as well as visual appearance.
12. Video, Audio and Multimedia
Where ADOMAC publishes meaningful video or audio content through the Hair website, accessibility needs should be considered based on the nature of that content.
Where appropriate, this may include:
- captions;
- transcripts;
- text alternatives;
- accessible media controls; or
- other equivalent means of accessing important information.
13. Third-Party Content and Services
Some parts of the ADOMAC Hair customer experience may involve third-party technologies, including services relating to payment processing, shipping, embedded content, analytics, customer communications, or other website functions.
ADOMAC does not directly control every aspect of independently operated third-party technology.
However, where a third-party service forms an important part of the customer journey, ADOMAC should reasonably consider accessibility when selecting, configuring, reviewing, or replacing that service.
A third-party provider should not automatically become an excuse for leaving a known critical accessibility barrier unresolved.
14. Ongoing Accessibility Work
Digital accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a one-time website feature.
Changes to:
- products;
- plugins;
- website themes;
- checkout;
- third-party integrations;
- content;
- navigation; or
- website functionality
may introduce new accessibility issues even after earlier testing has passed.
ADOMAC therefore intends to include accessibility in ongoing website QA and maintenance.
15. Automated and Manual Testing
ADOMAC may use automated accessibility testing tools to help identify potential issues.
Automated testing alone is not treated as sufficient evidence that an entire customer journey is accessible.
ADOMAC’s accessibility assurance should combine:
automated testing + manual testing + keyboard testing + assistive-technology testing where appropriate.
16. Accessibility Assistance
If a customer experiences difficulty accessing information or completing a transaction through the website because of an accessibility issue, ADOMAC wants the customer to contact ADOMAC Hair.
Where reasonably possible, ADOMAC should provide assistance or an accessible alternative for obtaining the relevant information or completing the customer-support process.
Providing an alternative method of assistance does not mean that ADOMAC should ignore an underlying website accessibility issue. Reported barriers should also be investigated for correction where appropriate.
17. Reporting an Accessibility Problem
Customers should be able to report accessibility difficulties through an actual monitored ADOMAC contact method.
When reporting an accessibility problem, it may be helpful to provide:
- the page or feature involved;
- a description of the difficulty;
- the device or browser being used, if known;
- the assistive technology being used, if relevant; and
- contact information if a response is requested.
Customers are not required to disclose a medical diagnosis or unnecessary sensitive information merely to report a website accessibility problem.
18. Accessibility Contact
Customers experiencing difficulty using the ADOMAC Hair website or accessing our products or services should contact ADOMAC using the verified and monitored accessibility or customer-support contact method published on the website.
ADOMAC will not publish an invented or unmonitored accessibility contact merely to complete this statement.
19. Accessibility Feedback
ADOMAC welcomes accessibility feedback.
Reasonable feedback may help identify barriers that automated tools or internal testing did not detect.
Reported accessibility issues may be prioritized based on factors such as:
- severity;
- impact on the customer journey;
- number of customers potentially affected;
- whether an essential function is blocked;
- security implications; and
- technical complexity.
Critical barriers preventing customers from accessing essential shopping or customer-service functions should receive higher priority than minor cosmetic issues.
20. Accessibility and Security
Accessibility improvements should not require ADOMAC to disclose security credentials, fraud-detection rules, internal administrative controls, private customer information, or technical information that would materially compromise security.
Accessibility and cybersecurity should be implemented together rather than treating one as a reason to weaken the other.
21. Changes to This Accessibility Statement
ADOMAC may update this Accessibility Statement as the website changes, accessibility practices improve, technologies change, standards evolve, or applicable legal requirements change.
The published statement will display the applicable Effective Date and Last Updated date.
The Last Updated date should be changed whenever a material revision is published.
22. Our Accessibility Target
ADOMAC Hair’s accessibility target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
Production accessibility testing must be completed before ADOMAC makes any broader claim of technical conformance.
